Immediately when I saw these images, I thought of the beloved classic, “Hook.” It might not be appropriate for all age levels, but it’s such a timeless delight. Connecting the dots between this movie and the artwork is a surefire way to spark your child’s imagination.
While actual pirates may be scary, use these pages to control the lesson plan and add some historical context. Maybe even dress up in pirate costumes and consider going on the water. Or have a play sword fight to work out some of that energy. It’s time to indulge the penchant for pirates.
